Arsene Wenger has added another typical signing to the Arsenal ranks today with the arrival of Amaury Bischoff from Werder Bremen. No suprises then that he’s French, young and ofcourse an unproven talent as he didn’t make a single appearance in the Bundesliga. If 21 year old Bischoff is a success we will no doubt be bombarded with dollops of over the top hyperbole hailing Wengers talent for unearthing hidden gems but his scouting talent still remains unable to unearth and nurture Englsih talent. The move has not gone down well in Bremen who had wanted Bischoff to sign another contract with the club after they had stood by him through a number of injuries. No fee has been agreed between the clubs so the matter will be decided by a UEFA tribunal.
