Fernando Torres headed his 30th goal of the season to help Liverpool to a comfortable home win over Blackburn. The goal meant he became the only Liverpool player ever to score in 7 consecutive league games at Anfield. Meanwhile the game at Old trafford was a tale of 2 handballs as Arsenals Adebayor handled one into the net before Gallas handled at the other end to bring United back into the game. The game was settled by an Owen Hargreaves free kick curled perfectly into the corner of the net.
