New Man United home shirt 09/10

Plenty of rumours have surfaced claiming the new Manchester United kits for next season will have a distinctively retro look and the first picture of a manufactured United shirt looks to have confirmed this. It is the first picture of a fully manufactured home shirt and although there are no tags or premier league badges there is a good chance this is the final version of the shirt.
Nike are notoriously guarded over new Man United kits due to their popularity in asia where the kits are manufactured which can lead to widescale bootlegging of near perfect fakes. Featured below are some of the mock ups and other pics that have hit the net with the ‘boomerang’ stripe across the badge and Nike logo the common feature in all of them.

I am a united supporter and am genuinely not sure if I like it or not, I really dont like some of the prototypes but am still undecided for this potential 1,if I had to say if I liked it or not I would probably just say that I like it

The first designs based around the black arrow are so good! Our best strip ever is with the black shorts and black socks, this shirt would look insane with the black accessories! prefer the top round neck one, but either would be good.

The new shirt deal starts season 2010-2011 so we will still have AIG next year I think, so it could be one of these. 2 is alright but I like 3

AON is the new sponsor but AIG will remain on the new shirt for one season. As for the team, all is good. Last season United entered 5 competitions and won 3. They got to the final and semi-final of the others. In Ferguson we trust.

Wouldn’t be surprised if none of these are used knowing nike! But shirt 4 has been touted about since Feb. I have seen a better quality version of this one which looks really good. The away shirt will be white with a red ‘V’ to commemorate the kit used by United 100 years ago when they first won the FA Cup.

Am a manchester United fan en for sure this season’s design is horrible.I dont like all the four designs.The second design looks abit better and I settled for then I have no problem.The best ever manchester jersey was the black and white Vodafone sponsered away kit(Cant exacctly remember the season).That one was fabulous

NIKE and their “designers” (and I use the word “designers” in the broadest sense) truly are cr@p personified! Who on earth do they think they are playing with their ridiculous designs and colours? They’ve only ever made one good Man Utd kit and that was during the 2006/07 season.
TOFFS make the old fashioned shirts which I much more prefer to the rubbish kits NIKE turn out so there is no way I will buy any of their shirts until they get back to something more traditional.
