New Man City home shirt 09/10
Pictures of the new Manchester City home shirt for the 09/10 season have leaked onto the internet and its another slight change of colour for City. With Umbro taking over the manufacturing duties and Etihad replacing Thomas Cook as the club sponsors the kit appears to be a huge departure from the Le Coq Sportif shirts worn over recent seasons.
Whereas Umbro have concentrated on a fashion inspired creation for the England kit this City shirt is definitely a classic football shirt with no regards to ‘how it will look with jeans’. The brighter blue shirt has white sleeves with black piping and a white and black collar as well as what appears to be a dark blue breathable strip of material beneath the underarms.
UPDATE 25/05/09 This will not be Man City’s home shirt for next season the kits will be as shown below courtesy of NSJ will post more pics as they become available

Three shirts are being sold blue one looks old retro the second is white with the red black strips across diag..there is pics on bluemoon every other site have had them removed by umbro now..but i have seen these in the flesh in wilmslow

obviously a fake, one, the umbro badge isnt the right size and also it is not in line with the rest of the kit and also this kit was used a couple of seasons ago and so has only been photoshopped to look real

Now I know for a fact that two other websites have been told to remove the image of the three Umbro kits together as they infringe the copyright of Umbro, They are the official kits as I have seen them at the Unmbro Factory in Stockport. And they look really nice in the flesh. Nice retro kit summing up the last time we achieved somthing in the league, is this a good omen? I for one am certainly hoping so.

I have had a proper look at the kits at the umbro factory and they look nothin like the big one at the top of the page. The new strip is pure retro and we will definately be the best lookin team and set of fans next season. No contest

Why the hell is it a red and black stripe, every other year we have had purple on our third kits. PLus red is the colour of scum(united).
Anyway the cartoon picture of all three shirts is good and are the real things because the colour matches the one on the mcfc website because they have it as the background. The away one is a bit dull though.

Unbelieveably good kits. Obv the 1st 1 was fake. United’s kit is utter toss compared to ours and feels really heavy (I work in a sports shop) and seems like they designed it on an old Pro Evo game. City’s looks class and cant wait to buy it on Sat!

Any chance you could get that god awful fake shirt at the top taken off here? Its not this seasons shirt, it wont be any seasons shirt, as has been said the other shirts are the real ones (the majority have been released).
