New Liverpool away and 3rd kits
The new Liverpool away shirt is officially out and is a grey and red retro design invoking the style of the late eighties silver adidas away kits. The reds sported silver away kits from 1987 to 91 which is the last time they won the league and adidas have obviously played of that idea to create this seasons strip. The kit has a chessboard style refelctive print woven into the fabric and red and white checks on the inside of the shirt.
The away goalkeepers shirt is all green with white cuffs and collar and seems extremely retro and refreshing but probably because its so long since we’ve seens a traditional green keepers top from adidas. The underarm ‘bullet holes’ that are featured on the home shirt make it onto the away keepers top too but this time in highy visible white.
The third kit which will be worn in the Champions league is an almost undescribable shade of ‘petrol’ blue with a black collar and white stripes. It has vetical refelective stripes built into the shirt design and a black trim on the cuffs.

You will find Liverpool wore blue when they were first created. They wore the blue and white shirts left behind by Everton at Anfield. Yes, even you soon to be disued ground wasn’t yours to start with.
Even worse colour than that vile green they use for previous away strips.

That grey kit sucks hairy balls, the green goalie’s shirt is a buffTING and the 3rd kit is acceptable. Home shirt is really nice though, Liverpools saving grace. Well, that and Fernando Torres.
