New Aston Villa away kit 09/10
The new Aston Villa away kit has been revealed by Nike and the midlands club and their is an unlikely inspiration for the new white and blue strip. According to the Villains website the kit is inspired by the England national side and the 67 Villa players who have represented the country. The irony is that just as Villa have adopted the traditional white and blue strip made famous by the three lions the national side has broken from tradition and opted for an all white strip.
Normally I would go into great detail about the detailing on the kit but for once the shirt manufacturers Nike have offered all the details themselves as you can see in the picture below. All I will say is that the claim to be inspired by the England shirts of old is indeed justified particularly by the claret detail on the cuffs and collars and the retro style round collar.

To be honest this is one of the best away shirts that villa have ever had. I think the purpose od the shirt is fantastic as its about time people understand the quality of Aston Villa and about time they realise all the legends that villa have produced which then go on to playing for the country. This shirt will help do that, Nike have done a fantastic shirt, love the half colour thing and the pinstripes 10/10*

i think the new kit is really nice just the problem is i did really like the last years blue kit maybe we could have a hint of the new home one and im hoping that will be showing the torquise blue of last years colours but cant wait to see home kit now and i think we could do with a european kit
