McClaren back in football
The wally with the brolly has finally got tired of spending the millions he made destroying England’s Euro 2008 hopes and has taken up the managers role at dutch side FC Twente. McClaren endured the shortest stint as England manager in the countries history but still managed to be hailed as the worst England boss in modern times. After his dismissal in November McClaren claimed he would be straight back into management as he was ‘not one to lie on a beach’ but then went on to buy 2 Caribbean homes and has spent his time since sunning himself on the beach. After making a cameo appearance for the BBC at the Euro’s McClown as he is ‘lovingly’ known by the British press was understandably delighted as he beamed his used car salesman smile at the Sky Sports camera’s earlier today:
“I have this morning accepted a two-year contract to become the new manager of FC Twente in Holland. This is an exciting new phase of my managerial career and I can’t wait to take up the challenge. From the moment I met the club president Mr Munsterman and his staff, I knew this was the right club for me.”
We are sure that after 8 months out of the game any club would’ve been the right club for McClaren who is desperate to earn some more cash before he is totally found out as the grinning clueless charlatan that he really is.
