Its not the Sun wot dun it!
This weekend The Sun highlighted the ridiculous lengths they will go to for a story. They found this mock up of Frank Lampard in a new Chelsea strip on website Footballshirtculture.com and decided to put it on their own website with a comment that Lamps may not ever wear the shirt. Funny that, ‘cos he isn’t even wearing it now – the photo is clearly photoshopped and the kit is also a mock up, it’s not official.
If they’ll print something that is clearly as false as this, who knows what else makes it through those late night editorial meetings in Canary Wharf? I for one don’t know, as I can now afford proper bog roll and recycle my chip wrappers ‘cos its better for the environment.
If I had to guess I’d expect pictures like this one below to make it onto the backpages sometime soon. Perhaps we could have a caption competition for this one – I’ll chuck in a copy of the Sun for the winner…
