UEFA have awarded English clubs an extra berth in next seasons UEFA Cup which could be good news for Manchester City, Fulham and West Ham United. The extra place will go to a team who has not already qualified for European competition and who finishes top of the Premiership fair play league. Currently leading the league is Tottenham Hotspur who have already qualified for the UEFA cup by winning the Carling Cup but hovering in 5th place in the league Manchester City could sneak into Europe. City are closely followed in the fair play tabel by Everton, Fulham and West Ham United, with points being awarded for bookings, positive play, respect towards opponents and officials and behaviour of club officials.
