Scottish football agent based in Monaco. He is the agent of many top-level footballers, mainly based in England and France - specifically the Premier League. Some of his clients include Joey Barton, Henri Camara, Scott Brown, Tyrone Mears and Pascal Chimbonda.
McKay is one of the agents being investigated by the Quest team, led by Lord Stevens, which is investigating allegations of “bungs” and fraud in transfers. The Daily Express claimed in December 2006 that the £8.5m transfer of Jean-Alain Boumsong from Rangers F.C. to Newcastle United was one of the deals being examined by Quest.
McKay has denied any wrongdoing however he was later arrested by city of London Police in a dawn raid of his luxury home in Yorkshire on the 28th of November 2007. Mckay likened the raid to a terrorist attack and took the bizarre step of sending footage from his personal cctv cameras which showed Police entering his property to Sky sports news.
