Gillet and Hicks say no dice to DIC

Sky Sports and Setanta are reporting that Liverpool’s American owners have turned down Dubai Investment Capital’s £400m offer to buy the Merseyside club. No official statement has been made by the American pair or by DIC, but it is being widely reported that Tom Hicks has vetoed the sale.
