The results of our latest poll are in and you have voted in Steven Gerrard as the man you’d most like to be England captain despite stiff competition from John Terry and Rio Ferdinand. Poor old Michael Owen finished bottom of the pile closely followed by Wayne Rooney who has recently captained Man United. Gerrard finished wth 41.5% of the vote quite a way ahead of Terry on 25.5% and Ferdinand finished in third with 22.5% of all votes cast.
