Chelsea have revealed their new home strips for next season and this is the official goalkeepers kit as modelled by the man who will be wearing it, Petr Cech. The kit continues Chelsea’s luminous theme that has reared its ugly head over recent sessons, although this time it has been severely toned down with just a simple glow in the dark green detail on a dark blue background.

Last season Adidas proudly unveiled the Chelsea ‘warning orange’  goalkeepers jersey which was supposed to put off oncoming strikers but with Petr Cech’s woefull performances this season it only served to make him look like a clown. Perhaps Adidas should release a replica skull cap too for kids who want that authentic Petr Cech look mind you what self respecting goalkeeper would wear a crash helmet in the nets? You’d get laughed out of the sunday leagues.
